Podio Client Portal
A Podio client portal gives clients a focused place to see project status, submit information, upload files, approve work, or communicate with your team while Podio remains the internal system of record.
A Podio client portal gives clients a focused place to see project status, submit information, upload files, approve work, or communicate with your team while Podio remains the internal system of record.
Client Portal vs Customer Portal
A client portal is usually relationship-based. The user belongs to an account, project, case, matter, or engagement. They need controlled access to a slice of work over time.
That is different from a broad customer portal, which may focus more on tickets, orders, payments, or self-service.
Good Client Portal Features
- Project or case status
- Open tasks and requests
- Secure file collection
- Approval buttons
- Comment or update forms
- Read-only history
- Account-specific dashboards
Where ProcFu Fits
ProcFu Mini Apps can expose selected Podio records to the right client without giving them normal Podio access. Your team keeps working in Podio. The client sees a simpler interface designed for their role.
That keeps the portal close to the actual operational data. There is less duplicate entry and less risk that the portal drifts away from the internal record.
First Version
Start with status, requests, and file upload. Those three usually remove the most email back-and-forth without requiring a huge portal build.
