Podio Dashboard
A Podio dashboard should show the current state of work without making users dig through apps, filters, and reports every time they need an answer.
A Podio dashboard should show the current state of work without making users dig through apps, filters, and reports every time they need an answer.
What A Dashboard Should Answer
Good dashboards answer operational questions:
- What needs attention today?
- Which projects are blocked?
- How many requests are open?
- Which approvals are late?
- What changed this week?
- Where is volume increasing?
If the dashboard does not help someone decide what to do next, it is probably just a report.
Podio Views vs Custom Dashboards
Podio views are useful for lists and filters. A custom dashboard is useful when the team needs a combined screen: numbers, grouped records, links, charts, actions, and context from several apps.
ProcFu can help when the dashboard needs to be more focused than a Podio workspace view or visible to people who should not use the full Podio interface.
Where ProcFu Fits
ProcFu Mini Apps can create dashboard-style screens powered by Podio data. Data syncs can also support heavier reporting when Podio data needs to be queried or combined outside normal Podio views.
First Dashboard
Build the first dashboard around one role. A manager dashboard, field dashboard, finance dashboard, and customer dashboard should not all be the same screen.
